Anna Tsuchiya's New Single for DoCoMo! + January 1, 2008

   Anna Tsuchiya (for those of you who are just SO out of the loop of good jpop) is Keiko's costar in the DoCoMo 2.0 series as well as an award winning actress, singer, and model. She's a force to be reckon with, know for her wild rock star behavior, bright personality, and awesome stage presence. Fairly new to the music industry, her seventh single titled "Cocoon" is set to release January 30, 2008 and is to be used in an upcoming DoCoMo commercial (see promotion poster on right). It's unclear whether it will be used for the 2.0 CMs  but  I'm almost 100% sure it will be. I could be dead wrong, but it's nice to have this information anyway, ne? I was wondering with Tomoyo Nagase being the lead singer of the Japanese band TOKIO and Anna being a chart topper herself, why DoCoMo hasn't musically taken advantage of the 2.0 cast. It occurred to me that singing wouldn't fit Tomoyo's character as well as it would Anna's, so if it IS official that "Cocoon" will be used for a 2.0 CM---I say they chose well.
