Layout

     Below is the basic rundown on the creation and inspiration behind layouts for IKK. You can't STEAL (nope, can't use the main site image neither) them, but you can be inspired by them!

Version 8.0: Urban Angel >> April 13, 2008 to STILL IN USE

Seriously? I wanted to change layouts so badly that I opted for this crap.  I came up with about four other entire layouts before settling on this. You don't even WANT to see the other ones. Obviously my least favorite so it's not meant to last long. All depends on when I get inspired. Honestly, I was all created out when I did this, not NEARLY as good as the forum's layout. Most of it is me using brushes and adding to the image. Nothing spectacular. But I'm back to using the full site name! Yay!

Version 7.0: Memories >> October 24, 2007 to April 13, 2008

Okay I admit, I don't change layouts very often. Don't shoot me, I really base layouts on images of Keiko that inspire me. So if I'm not inspired, then the layout doesn't change. Anywho, with this one I got tired of honoring Keiko's work and decided to go for a warm autumn theme. Even though Keiko doesn't have a boyfriend, I was trying to tell a little narrative with the way the images are arranged. As in Keiko playing the part of a girl leaving a guy she cares alot about and this is the moment in time where she remembers the "good times" hence the title of the version being "Memories." Oh, and the reason why I left a tiny clip of a car on the right side---bag + car = leaving in some sense. I used a pattern for the page background and the same twirl brushes from the main image are used on the page banners. Again, I opted just for IKK---when am I ever going back to using the full name for the site?!

Version 6.0: 北川景子 meets 904i >> ----- to October 24, 2007

    This is my tribute to Keiko first large commercial campaign---DoCoMo 2.0! Isn't it VERY reminiscent of the Rebirth Edition? Sorry, wasn't intended for that. Like version 5.0, this one stars Keiko and friends---7 in fact. I included all 7 of Keiko's 2.0 cast members and boy, was a pain in the butt! I opted out using a pattern for the page background but I did create snazzy star page banners. Again, I didn't use the full name of the site, it's okay---you should know it by now. ^_~

Version 5.0: Dear Friends ->use: Feb. 18- June 6, 2007

This is my tribute to Keiko's first lead role in a major film--Dear Friends! This is the first time I featured a person other than Keiko in the layout--the person on her right is Yuika Motokariya, her co-star in the film. It's such a DRASTIC change from the soft colors of v. 3.0 and the Rebirth Edition but I had fun building a new background. It's also the first time that I didn't use the full name of the site and instead settled for the abbreviation: IKK. And yay! no faded backgound.

Version 4.0: Snow Angel ->use: Oct. 28- Feb. 18, 2007

After having a fit for the longest time and trying to find a new layout, I settled for some winter inspiration and made this! I changed the font color to navy blue (not using WHITE!) for the first time since version 1! I gotta stop with the fadded background though...I'd like to do a picture blend again like I did with version 3. Well, this layout won't last too long...I'm waiting for some Dear Friends pictures to use in honor of my first HIGHLY anticipated Keiko movie! ^_^

IKK's Rebirth Edition ->use: July- Oct 27, 2006

This layout represents a turning point in IKK. a.) it's done in CSS (thanks to karyuudan) so I can change layout styles more frequently and with ease. Also, this happened after I lost most of my IKK stuff when my computer crashed. So this is an edition, not a version of IKK.  *sighs* that also means that unless someone took screen caps of version 1 and 2, you can't view those. ^_^;; original coding by Magitek.

Version 3.0 : Daisy Lovers -> usage time somewhat unknown... ^_^;;

This layout was the first using the Magitek coding. It made IKK look much neater but lack of CSS made it MUCH harder to convert pages.
